2023 VERDELHO
Old vine Yallingup fruit that was hand picked and cooled before gentle pressing. Fermented in stainless steel only to showcase the natural fruit characters of the variety and then bottles early to retain its youthful vibrancy.
Tasting Notes: A dry style wine packed with sweet fruit flavours of nectarine, rockmelon, kiwi fruit and ripe pear. The wine has zippy acidity and a slight slipperiness to its texture which really compliments spicy foods.
CABERNET FRANQ
Cabernet Franc is a classic Bordeaux variety that has principally been used as a blending component in Bordeaux wines. When produced as a straight varietal it typically produces medium bodied wines with great perfume. The flavours are reminiscent of Cabernet Sauvignon but the style is more feminine with the tannins being finer and softer.
Tasting Notes: It is a medium bodied richly flavoured wine with attractive sweet fruit displaying red fruits, plum skin, raspberry coulis and red capsicum with notes of sarsaparilla, rhubarb and pomegranate. This wine is noticeably soft with fine slightly chalky tannins juicy and fleshy with noticeable oak that adds just an element of grip and structure to this otherwise silky soft wine.
